Photos from the Mencap China Bike Ride, October 2001

The pictures in this section are from a wonderful experience - cycling 450 km through China to raise money for Mencap. Please browse through them at leisure, and I hope they tempt you to do something similar yourself - I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

For the outward journey and the ride itself the pictures are in chronological order, with each folder representing one day (and subfolders representing particularly interesting places), and the time one each picture being the local time it was taken. This means you can follow the whole thing through in chronological order if you so desire.

The pictures from Beijing itself are not in order, because that was where we ended the ride so the order kind of became less important. Instead I've sorted them by place as far as possible.
