On Wednesday evening, I took part in Seattle's local contribution to the Ride of Silence, an international, slow, silent ride ro memorialise and draw attention to cyclists killed or injured on the road. Turnout was incredible (these pictures don't get the whole crowd—official estimates were around 700), and it was quite moving to be a part of this.
