The light, it blinds ussss
Happy ChrisNukaKwanzWaliStice

I'm off to Michigan tomorrow, and Florida later, to see two sets of family over Christmas and New Year. I probably won't be bothering to update the photoblog until I get back, so have a happy [anything you feel celebrating] till then.
Oh, and the photo was taken from a moving boat in southeastern Florida's inland waterway, somewhere in the vicinity of Fort Lauderdale, on December 27th last year.

And a special mention for the Total Yellowstone Loons, whose weekly competition winners show how much more beautiful the park is than I managed to capture in my photos.

We didn't spend as long as we might have liked here, because the tourist zoo was maddening, and we didn't want to see what happens when a horde of stupid tourists stands between two bison because they're all so desperate to get one more photo.

Slow motion charge

Bison are actually very slow-moving animals, paying little attention to the movements of these little hu-mans around them. I guess when you're that size you don't need to worry about us.
